Miri it is while sumer ilast, but soon it is time for sorrow and fasting. Consider the dead leaves at your feet, remember that your time is both cyclical and finite. Watch as the pain of the harvest gives way to the eternity of winter and the time of waiting. Warm your drink, find your love, for Winter is a comin' in.

Over time I have come to feel that music should be contextual rather than universal. These are melodies that have haunted me for decades and continue to appear in my music, refracted through various interventions. Every year October arrives and I resurrect these songs to ward off the coming Winter.

Celebrate now because by February you will be dreaming of the last vestiges of that feeling as you are enveloped in darkness and frozen air. I can think of no greater joy than to add vividness to the memories you will hold from this time. Remember the feel of the cold night ocean and the smell of the forest at dusk.
